What is Gamma Cloud DVR?
Gamma Cloud DVR is our cloud-based recording service. Instead of recording to a local hard drive, all recordings are stored on our Gamma Cloud servers — accessible from any device, anywhere in the world.
How many channels can I record at once?
GAMMADVR 1 supports up to 50 simultaneous recordings. GAMMADVR 2 supports unlimited simultaneous recordings — record every channel at the same time if you want.
How long are recordings kept?
GAMMADVR 1 keeps recordings for 60 days — great for catching up on older content. GAMMADVR 2 keeps recordings for 60 days and gives you more total storage (3,000 minutes / 200 GB) for heavy recording. After the retention period, old recordings are automatically cleared.
Do I need any hardware or set-top box?
No hardware needed at all. Gamma Cloud DVR is entirely cloud-based. You access and manage all recordings directly from your browser, phone, tablet, or Smart TV app.
How do I watch DVR on my devices?
DVR services work with the GAMMA IPTV Player app on Firestick, Android Box, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and MacBook. To get started on those devices, open GAMMA IPTV Player, go to Settings → GAMMADVR, and log in with your DVR account credentials. You can also watch directly from any browser on PC or laptop.
Does DVR work on top of my premium subscription?
Yes. The Gamma Cloud DVR service is an add-on that works alongside your existing StreamLive subscription. You need an active account to use it.
Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. There are no contracts. You can cancel your DVR subscription from your account dashboard at any time.
